Here at Catch Up we love reading! Whether that is from a book, a comic, a screen or a poster – we are most definitely ready to ‘Go All In’!
‘Whatever you’re into, get ready to Go All In’ is one of the slogans from the UK-wide campaign, the National Year of Reading 2026! The campaign aims to help people of all ages re-discover the joy of reading and use their interests and passions as a starting point!
During 2026, the campaign (a Department for Education initiative), will produce a calendar of reading events to support their aims and make reading a part of everyday life. Find more details on their website - https://goallin.org.uk/
We fully support this amazing campaign and know that our wonderful Catch Up® Community will grasp the opportunity to promote a love of reading with both hands!
Please remember there are some helpful resources in your user accounts which can be used to promote a passion for reading!
In the Resources section of your online account, you will find a ‘parent/carer info’ tab. This holds our leaflets designed specifically for parents and carers, including one titled ‘Enjoying reading with your child’. In addition, why not have a browse under the ‘Managing Catch Up’ tab? In this section you will find some book presentation labels and some Catch Up® certificates designed to celebrate the learners’ achievements with you.
We hope you all enjoy being part of the National Year of Reading 2026!
